So for the first time in my college career, they let me make a drawing on a computer that could be all perdy.
The assignment was to take some of our 3d animation thesis story ideas and make a drawing out of them.
The story for the first picture is:
An extraordinary doctor makes a house call to a patient in distress. When she arrives, the patient is already unconcious. She goes about trying to cure him of his ailment, which takes the form of a mass of black evilness coming out of his body. She utilizes golden pills, magic scalpils, and an enourmous hypodermic needle that she wears on her back. In the end, the patient is cured, but passes out again when he reads the medical bill.
The story for the second picture is:
A student is trying to graduate from the imperial academy of monster slaying. He goes out to find the mosnter that will be his thesis. The monster has fought and killed students before. He tells this new prospective graduate as much. Before they fight, the monster asks the student why he is fighting. What drives him? The student tells him the reason, but only after the fight is over, before driving his sword into the monsters heart.
I like the textures and the shadows in the nurse picture, but most especially the drool coming out of the guy's mouth. And I love the monster with his curly horns and snaggley teeth.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
